The test assesses an applicant’s mental aptitudes in six different categories:

• Mental Alertness: learning comprehension, reasoning, judgment, problem-solving abilities
• Business Terms: knowledge of basic business terms
• Memory Recall: knowledge of current events relevant to the position
• Vocabulary: English vocabulary skills
• Perception: responsiveness and accuracy in handling numerical tasks
• Mechanical Interests: interests in the mechanical area
