Introduction

The TestFirst personality-screening questionnaire was designed to collect an individual’s personality information and aptitudes on a numeric scale. Because you have the ability to adapt application questions to target those candidates who are most compatible with your organization, the compiled information enables you to hire the right person for the right job.

Potential employees are given a unique username and password to log into the testing website, reducing the risk of manipulated test results. The 60-minute test produces an in-depth report describing various aspects of an applicant’s character, behavior, and professional capacity. Sections of the report include:

  • A descriptive section explaining and analyzing the Personality Dimension or Mental Aptitude being evaluated.
  • A graphical representation of the assessment scores and a comparison with those who have been successful in the specific position within your organization, or within industry standards. TestFirst also provides access to a database with templates presenting established test results for individuals who have achieved success in specific positions within your industry.
  • A Leadership Analysis revealing strengths, weaknesses, and leadership potential to help you ascertain future roles within the organization.
  • A Sales Analysis identifying an applicant’s sales abilities based on five elements of selling: identifying needs or desires, developing rapport, product presentation, objection handling, and closing skills.
  • A Personal Development Plan offering possible actions the applicant can take to become more efficient and effective on the job, based on the personality and aptitude evaluation.
  • Applicable interview questions to assist in uncovering an applicant’s best qualities or address other relevant issues.
