The TestFirst personality-screening test was developed and validated by James E. Moore, Ph.D., with the help of other well-known psychologists. The test was then revalidated and updated thanks to the technical expertise of Mr. Roger Pryor, Master of Psychology, Dr. Max Fogel, and Dr. Stanley Abrams, who is known for his research on the polygraph.

The test was reviewed by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. This entity stated that there is no need for validation within each company given that the test leaves little opportunity for any adverse effect on any “unprotected group.”

Neither the Department of Labor, the EEOC, or any other federal regulatory agency have the right to approve or disapprove any test or procedure; the extent of their authority only allows them to audit and investigate any unfair employment practices.

Properly implementing and using The test, helps ensure protection against any potential negative issues with the EEOC.
